Registration is now open for the Fourth Florida Senior Games Tai Chi Tournament!
This year’s Florida Senior Games Tai Chi tournament will be in Gainesville, Florida. The Tai Chi tournament will be on Saturday, December 5 at:
Hotel Indigo Gainesville-Celebration Pointe
5020 SW 30th Lane
Gainesville, FL 32608.
We hope to encourage newcomers to tai chi as well as veteran competitors to compete in this event. Competition will include forms and push hands, and we have divisions for everyone from advanced players to novices who have never competed before.
The entry fee is $20 for the first event, and only $5 for each additional event. Advance registration is strongly encouraged. Limited on-site registration is available for $30 for the first event, $5 each addtional.
Be sure to check out our open Push Hands Clinic, where you can come in and experience “Sensing Hands” in a friendly, non-competitive environment.
We will need volunteers, officials–and participants! We hope you will be a part of this historic first event.
